THMAGC actively participated in the annual Bible and Prayer Conference 2012 which was hosted by the South Central Cordillera District Council (SCCDC) and joined this time by three other districts – Northern Luzon District Council (NLDC), Norhtern Ilocandia District Council (NIDC) and North Eastern Luzon District Council (NELDC). This was held at the Tuding Assembly of God chapel last November 13 to 15, 2012.
More than 800 brethren attended based on the registration reported by the SCCDC Secretary, Rev. Marcos Salicob.
The speaker during the first evening service was Rev. Peter Cavasoz, an American missionary. He spoke on the consequences to the church when the latter starts to deny God based on passages of Scriptures (Psalm 71:17-18, Psalm 137 and Deuteronomy 8:11). Visiting Malaysian women missionaries encouraged and ministered to those who were present in the conference during the second and the third night services.
Gracing the joint conference were: Rev. Joseph Suico (Assistant General Superintendent), Rev. Alex Fuentes (General Secretary), Rev. Benito “Jun” Lacaden, Jr. (district superintendent or DS of NIDC), Rev. Alejandro Langiden (DS of NLDC) and Rev. Laurence Nanglegan Sr., of NELDC.
Alexander, a brother who attended the conference, remarked: “Makapabendisyon. Asi ad-aduy nan-atendar ya.” (I am blessed. It is well attended).
