In 1992 the church building was extended and a cottage was built with the help of a missionary – Rev. Osmo Peniniemi. He was Finn by birth but a Canadian Citizen. Funds were given by the British Assemblies of God churches and managed by Rev. Osmo Peniniemi.
The cottage built was used to accommodate Bro. Ben Balang, a patient paralyzed on the legs because of an accident. Bro Balang was aided financially by a Japanese missionary named Rev. Masaaki Sasaki and brethren who are members of other assembly of Churches in the Cordillera. At present Rev. Sasaki is a pastor in Japan. In the same year, the damages of the first building were repaired with P 3,000.00 to start with from a Korean missionary – Rev. Wonsuk Ma; this was used to buy hollow blocks. Most of the funds used for its completion were from the church.
In the late 80’s, Rev. Leonardo Caput Sr. had a vision of putting up a training center in the Cordillera Region. Pastor Jack W. Ellsworth at the International Christian Assembly (ICA) based in Hongkong got interested in this vision and agreed to help raise funds for this purpose. While the fund was being raised, an emergency situation concerning a family member made Ptr. Ellsworth leave his office; no clear instructions and endorsement were left as to where the money raised shall be appropriated and so it was not forwarded to the district office and later it was found out that the money was given to the Evangel Bible College in Bicol.
Despite this discouraging event Rev. Leonardo Caput Sr. did not give up. In 1993 he was asked by Dr. David Lim, the Asia-Pacific Theological Seminary president, to meet with pastor Rey Bernardes for he might be able to help him with his vision. Pastor Bernardes is the pastor of Vallejo California Assembly of God. He invited Rev. L. Caput to speak to several churches in Vallejo California in order to raise funds needed for the project. By God’s grace he was able to go to California and fulfilled his mission.
While ministering in the states, shocking news reached Ptr. Caput – the sudden death of his son Leonardo Jr. The pain of not being able to attend to his son was indescribable and it had been a dagger to his heart. Despite this incident, he pursued his mission in California. The comfort from God and family was enough to strengthen him. The money needed for the project was raised and forwarded to the district office where funds were properly accounted and appropriated.

Training Center Building
The vision for a training center was expanded into a multipurpose building. Apart from it being envisioned to be utilized as training center (Assemblies of God Training Center for Cordillera), it shall also be used as a worship hall.
In January 1994, foundations of the multipurpose building were laid and it took a year to complete its construction.

The multipurpose building was dedicated in December 18, 1994. Training started in January 12, 1995 with twelve (12) students. Series of discipleship training followed and at the same time the hall was used for Sunday services and other relevant activities.

In 2003, training ceased after Rev. Leonardo Caput Sr. and Rev. Walter Caput lost the District Superintendent and LUBIC President positions respectively. The responsibility was then given to LUBIC. The last graduation of the center was done together with the LUBIC graduation in 2003 with five (5) graduates. In spite of this, trainings are still being conducted as the need arises.
