Blessed are those whose strength is in the Lord whose hearts are set on Him! The Lord be praised for all that He has done!
Nothing is too hard for our God! This year the Lighthouse Church is blessed to be in partnership with the brethren across the nations. The PGCAG CE Team came and helped with the Vacation Bible School where our ESL students participated in. Our October Discipleship Camp where participants learned about commitment and devotion to Jesus through games and team building activities, fellowship, worship and prayer brought forth students who had forsaken their faith and declared that Jesus is the only HOPE! Some of them now attend Cell group and Sunday services.
Last month we were also blessed to see and minister to the brethren along the Mekong Delta. They blessed our hearts with their generosity and their love for the Lord and for the believers as they worship without inhibitions even under severe persecution, even as they put up house churches neglecting their own, they were joyful to give it all. We see the tiled chapel fully concrete just beside their own with merely just an enclosure. Their love for prayer also encouraged us to pray, their faith simply put in action, God’s Word coming to life in their own lives gave us joy and challenged us to have faith in God.
December 10, we went for a half day evangelistic meeting in one of the villages in the outskirts of Phnom Penh. It took us three hours to get there but the trip was worth it. We were greeted with warm smiles and eagerness. We fellowshipped with the children and adults. Pastor Nora shared that it only took one person who came to the saving grace of the Lord, who eventually won his family to Christ and has been a blessing to the community.
The Kingdom of God is at hand, today indeed is the day of salvation. Joining the ministry in obedience to the will of God has enlarged my heart and blessed my life in so many ways. I am thankful to all of you as you continue to be channels of blessing especially in your prayers for me to remain steadfast as it is easy to be discouraged and turn back.
May THMAGC continue to fulfill God’s purpose, may it continually be a house on fire for the things that makes God’s heart beat, may THMAGC continue to be a refuge to the hurting and the lost, may it always be an arm that lovingly reaches out and at all cost share God’s love.
